Energy Dance Announces New Lineup of Irish and International DJs
19 May 2026
Energy Dance, the experimental dance music radio station operated by Bay Broadcasting, has announced a new summer line-up containing some 38 hours per week of specialist programmes from renowned Irish and international DJs. The dance music station is available on DAB+ to 85% of the population via the Fáilte DAB Mux1 & Mux2 trials, as well as online and on smart speakers.
The station now features 20 Irish and international DJs including Irish DJs John Power and Christian Homan and almost 20 other DJs from around the world. Energy has now signed Crystal Waters with her "I Am House" radio show, Paul Van Dyk's Vonyk Sessions, Chicane's Sun:Set mixes and a variety of DJs including Sean Maynard with Dance Athems, Dance Party Weekly with Lee Everest, the Sugar Radio Show with Robin Schulz, Globalsessions with Paul Rudd and a variety of styles from orchestral trance to deep house.
Energy will also shortly be launching Energy Dance Chilled - chilled beats every morning from 6am to 10am, to ease people into their day.
Energy Dance launched as an experimental dance station on the Failte DAB Mux1 trial in October 2025 and has also appeared on the latest Mux2 trial covering 85% of the country.
Bay Broadcasting CEO, Kevin Branigan, said. "The early few months of Energy Dance have attracted good attention and now we're ramping it up with a great line-up of Irish and international DJs and bringing a broad church of dance and electronic music to the airwaves. There is a definite space for a dedicated dance music radio station and DAB+ affords us the opportunity to grow Energy Dance organically - a process that does not generally happen with radio services."
As the station develops, Energy is interested in hearing from DJs with ideas about new programmes. Those interested can contact studio@energydance.ie
